I Love Printing!

Seeing my work as a real, physical print is what makes the whole process worth it. The Sony A7R line, with its high megapixel count, is just perfect for that.

My home printing setup

For home printing I work with an Epson P900 (up to A2), and I edit on BenQ Creative Pro monitors. I own the PD2770u as my main monitor, plus the SW272u and the 321c. The PD2770u is the newest in the lineup and the one I'd recommend most.

About me

I'm a Dutch landscape photographer and Sony Global Ambassador of Imaging. My work has been featured in National Geographic, TIME and Adobe publications, and is regularly seen on billboards around the world.

In 2025 I was awarded 2nd prize at Landscape Photographer of the Year and 1st prize at Low Lands Photographer of the Year for my series "Mushrooms in their Natural World". My style has been compared to "A New Dutch Master", a reference to the classical Dutch painters who inspire me.

I've had the privilege of photographing many places around the world: from Greenland and Antarctica to Patagonia and the volcanoes of Guatemala, from solar eclipses across multiple continents to the quiet windmills in my own backyard. My Kyrgyzstan series, made in the homeland of my wife Bermet, was even visited by the country's prime minister.

Alongside this, I share my knowledge and experience through my Lightroom course, my best-selling book The Beauty of the Netherlands, my YouTube channel, and events like tonight.
